On November 10, the China-Indonesia Business Forum was held in Beijing. Indonesian President Prabowo, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) Gao Yundong, and other leaders from both China and Indonesia attended the event. Representatives from the business communities of both countries gathered to discuss new opportunities for pragmatic economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia. In recent years, Sino-Indonesian relations have continued to maintain a strong momentum of development, entering a new stage of building a community with a shared future. Following President Prabowo's inauguration, Indonesia's national development will also usher in new opportunities. As a world-renowned resource-rich country, Indonesia boasts abundant nickel ore reserves. With the booming global electric vehicle industry, nickel, as a key raw material for battery manufacturing, has become increasingly strategically important. Huayou, from its green nickel refining plant to the production of battery precursors and cathode materials downstream, not only accurately meets the growing demand of the global electric vehicle industry but also aligns with President Prabowo's strategy of downstreaming and industrialization of the industrial chain. This has not only brought advanced production technology and management experience to Indonesia but also significantly increased the added value of the industry, created a large number of high-quality job opportunities, and strongly promoted the sustained rapid growth of the Indonesian economy, achieving deep integration and coordinated development of resources, industries, and the economy.

In Indonesia, Huayou has built a world-class laterite nickel ore hydrometallurgical project, established Indonesia's first Huayou-invested factory for new energy lithium battery ternary materials, and is actively creating a world-class lithium battery industrial park. Huayou has successfully launched a joint metallurgical engineering master's program in Indonesia with Huayou Cobalt, the Indonesian Ministry of Maritime and Investment Affairs, and Northeastern University, accelerating talent cultivation and localization in Indonesia, and promoting Sino-Indonesian technological and cultural exchanges to new heights.
